In its 43rd issue of 2025, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced that Yuuto Suzuki’s Sakamoto Days manga will be adapted into a live-action film, set to premiere in Japan during the 2026 Golden Week (late April to early May).

By June 2025, the manga had surpassed 12 million copies in circulation.

A television anime adaptation, brought to life by TMS Entertainment, was broadcast from January to March 2025.
