Re:Monster anime‘s official website recently unveiled that the Studio Deen series is officially getting a 2nd season.
The anime’s returning cast include:
- Takuya Satouย as Aporou
- Kenta Hosodaย as Minokichi
- Ai Kakumaย as Kanami
- Kana Uedaย as Asue
- Mai Kannoย as The Redhead
- Nene Hiedaย as Rubilia
Re:Monster is a Japanese light novel series penned by Kogitsune Kanekiru with illustrations by Yamaada. It was originally shared online from May 2011 to 2018 on the user-driven novel platform Shลsetsuka ni Narล. AlphaPolis later picked it up, releasing nine core volumes, a side story, and an additional volume between August 2012 and August 2017. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Haruyoshi Kobayakawa, has been published on AlphaPolis’ manga site since March 2014, compiled into 11 tankลbon volumes. Hanashi Media holds the North American license for the light novel, while Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the manga. A follow-up light novel series, Re:Monster: Ankoku Tairiku-hen, written by Kanekiru and illustrated by Naji Yanagida, started in July 2018 under AlphaPolis, with four volumes released to date. An anime adaptation by Studio Deen aired from April to June 2024.
