The new anime announcement celebrates the animeโs 40th anniversary.

The original Fist of the North Star manga was serialized in Shueishaโs Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983 until 1988. In June 2021, Viz Media launched a newly formatted release of the series, available both in print and digital formats.
The anime adaptation aired between 1984 and 1988, spanning two seasons and totaling 152 episodes. Over the years, the franchise has expanded with numerous follow-up anime series, movies, and spinoffs, solidifying its legacy as a cornerstone of action-packed post-apocalyptic storytelling.
