In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Anime’s New Trailer Goes Live

In the Clear Moonlit Dusk anime‘s official website just unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming anime series.

UNISON SQUARE GARDEN performs the opening and ending theme songs. The opening song is titled “Uruwashi,” and the ending song is titled “Azalea no Kaze.”

In the Clear Moonlit Dusk is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Mika Yamamori. The story first appeared in serialized form in Dessert magazine starting in July 2020. By May 2025, its chapters had been gathered into a total of nine collected volumes. An anime adaptation for television, animated by East Fish Studio, has a planned debut in January 2026.

Plot of the series is as following:

“Yoi Takiguchi, a freshman in high school, stands out with her impressive height, resonant voice, and rugged features that frequently lead others to confuse her with a striking young man. Nicknamed “Prince” among her peers, she unwittingly captures the hearts of several girls at school. Resigned to this reality, Yoi accepts that altering her looks or shifting how people see her is beyond her control.

That routine existence takes an unexpected turn upon encountering Kohaku Ichimura. Known around campus for his family’s immense wealth, he’s earned the same “Prince” moniker from classmates. Like so many before him, Kohaku first perceives Yoi as an attractive boy, yet he soon develops a genuine fascination with her. He actively pursues a connection, picking up on subtle facets of her personality that elude everyone else.

Through a string of encounters, Kohaku proposes an experimental romantic trial to Yoi. From there, the narrative tracks these dual “princes” as they gradually uncover and share their authentic identities with one another.”
