The Japanese media giant Kadokawa confirmed recently that I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World anime special will go live on March 2026.
The cast members include:
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yūya Tenjō
- Akari Kitō as Kaori Hōjō
- Kaori Maeda as Lexia von Arcelia

“I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too” is a Japanese light novel series penned by Miku and brought to life with illustrations by Rein Kuwashima. It originated as a web novel, debuting on the Kakuyomu platform in March 2017, before Fujimi Shobo picked it up and began releasing it in December 2018 via their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko label.
The story also inspired a manga adaptation, drawn by Kazuomi Minatogawa, which has been running on ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki PlayStation Comic Web site starting in December 2019. To date, its chapters have been compiled into six tankōbon volumes through July 2024. Additionally, TMS Entertainment produced an anime adaptation, with animation handled by Millepensee, that ran on television from April to June 2023.
