On Monday, Kadokawa revealed that the manga FX Fighter Kurumi-chan (FX Senshi Kurumi-chan), created by storywriter Demunyan and artist Daisuki Tansan, will receive a TV anime adaptation premiering in 2026.
This exciting news comes directly from the publisher, confirming the long-awaited jump from pages to screen for the series.
The anime also unveiled two key visuals:

FX Senshi Kurumi-chan is a Japanese manga series created by writer Demunyan and illustrator Daisuki Tansan.
The story first appeared as a webcomic on Demunyan’s personal site before it was picked up for official serialization in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Flapper magazine, starting in February 2021.
As of May 2025, the series has been collected into eight tankōbon volumes.
An anime television adaptation, produced by studio Passione, is scheduled to begin airing in 2026.
The plot of the series is as following:
“During her middle school years, Kurumi Fukuga’s life was turned upside down when her mother, Kozue, secretly got deeply involved in foreign exchange (FX) margin trading.
Using the family’s savings without anyone’s knowledge, Kozue suffered catastrophic losses of ¥20 million in the wake of the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy and the global financial crisis that followed.
Overwhelmed by guilt, shame, and the fear of what the debt would mean for her loved ones, Kozue took her own life, leaving Kurumi heartbroken and shattered.
Determined to make things right, Kurumi dedicated her high school and university years to mastering the world of FX trading. Her goal was clear: to recover the 20 million yen her mother had lost.
Though she achieved some early wins and approached the markets with noble intentions, Kurumi gradually came to understand the serious risks and irreversible consequences that margin trading can bring.”
