Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Van, the fourth son of a marquis, retains memories of his past life and is hailed as a child prodigy.

Disappointed by his father, Van is appointed lord of a small village in the frontier…

Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City is a Japanese light novel series authored by Sou Akaike, with illustrations provided by Kururi. The series originally started as an online serialization on the user-submitted novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō in May 2020. It was subsequently picked up by Overlap, which released printed volumes under its Overlap Novels label starting in September 2021. Additionally, a manga version, drawn by Maro Aoiro, launched on Overlap’s Comic Gardo web service in August 2021.
Story of the anime is as following:
“Van Ney Fertio is an eight-year-old prodigy whose extraordinary talents stem from being the reincarnated soul of a legendary hero, granting him an innate mastery of magic from birth. Unfortunately, when his magical affinity turns out to be the seemingly underwhelming creation magic, his arrogant noble family disowns him and banishes him to a remote, insignificant frontier village to serve as its defender. Undaunted, Van recognizes the hidden opportunities in his new home and, supported by a loyal group of followers who still have faith in his potential, sets out to transform the sleepy hamlet into a thriving stronghold.”
