Dorohedoro anime‘s official website unveiled a brand new key visual for the upcoming 2nd season that confirms Spring 2026 release date.
Dorohedoro is a dark fantasy manga created and drawn by Q Hayashida. The series originally ran in Shogakukan’s publications, including Monthly Ikki, Hibana, and Monthly Shōnen Sunday from November 2017 through September 2018, with all its installments compiled into 23 collected volumes.
The narrative follows Caiman, a lizard-headed protagonist suffering from amnesia, as he teams up with his ally Nikaido to piece together his forgotten past while navigating a bizarre, brutal universe filled with chaos and danger.
Viz Media acquired the rights for an English edition in 2009 and first offered it digitally through SigIKKI, their short-lived online adaptation of the Ikki magazine. The complete set of 23 books hit shelves in North America between 2010 and 2019.
An anime adaptation, consisting of 12 episodes and animated by MAPPA, aired on Tokyo MX in Japan between January and March 2020, before becoming available globally on Netflix starting in May of that year.
