“Akane (and Nadeshiko, who was worried about her) came to a leisure hotel for an overnight stay on a business trip.

Akane also prepared herself for “that kind of thing” with Nadeshiko, but… nothing happens at all!?

“Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?” is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Yakinikuteishoku. The title has been running as a serial in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine starting from July 2021, and Seven Seas Entertainment has acquired the rights for its English release.
The story of the anime is as following:
“Akane Tsuda, a 28-year-old employee in the planning division of a prominent electronics company, earns admiration from her colleagues for her meticulous organization and tireless dedication at work. Yet, away from the office, her apartment is cluttered chaos, she’s prone to heavy drinking, and she’s never once dated anyone. In a moment of intoxicated despair and isolation, she impulsively purchases a sex android named Nadeko. The following morning, sober and horrified by her decision, Akane realizes she can’t send Nadeko back or confide in her team—doing so could jeopardize her career. Thus, Akane and Nadeko embark on a peculiar shared living arrangement.”
