Dandadan anime‘s official website has just unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd season’s up and coming 5th episode.
Synopsis for the episode:
“Momo succeeds in rescuing Ocalun. The Momo returned to the house safely, but Gigi remains under the hindrance, and it turns out that if you pour cold water, you will be able to see the evil eye, and if you pour hot water, you will return to Gigi. Momo and Okarun return to their daily lives, but as a countermeasure against the evil eye, Ira also joins them and stays at Momo’s house.“
Dandadan season 2 episode 5 will be released on August 1, 2025.
Dandadan season 2 anime premiered on July 4.
Opening theme song “On The Way” is performed by AiNA THE END, the ending theme “Doukashiteru” is performed by WurtS.

Dandadan is a supernatural action manga created by Yukinobu Tatsu. The series launched on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ digital platform in April 2021 and, as of July 2025, has been compiled into 20 collected volumes. The story centers on a pair of high school students who, after encountering otherworldly forces, gain strange powers and join forces to battle against bizarre creatures ranging from yōkai to extraterrestrials—often with the help of a growing circle of equally unusual allies.
