The American streaming giant Crunchyroll that they added the original 1984 version of the Fist of the North Star anime in their catalog.
The anime‘s 152 episodes are currently available in Japanese with English subtitles.

Set in a desolate, post-apocalyptic future ravaged by nuclear war, the manga follows Kenshiro, a lone warrior and the rightful heir to a deadly martial art known as Hokuto Shinken. As he roams the barren wastelands, Kenshiro becomes a protector of the helpless, standing against brutal warlords and vicious gangs that prey on the innocent. Along his journey, he faces powerful rivals and confronts haunting ties from his past—most notably Raoh, a former brother-in-arms who now rules with an iron fist, proclaiming himself the sovereign of the ruined world.
The original Fist of the North Star manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983 until 1988. In June 2021, Viz Media launched a newly formatted release of the series, available both in print and digital formats.
