Beastars Final Season Part 2 Unveiled A New Trailer In Both English Subtitled And Dubbed Versions

The BEASTARS Final Season has unveiled a fresh trailer for its 2nd part offering options for both English subtitles and English dubbed audio.

Part 2 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on March 7, following the release of Part 1, which has been available to stream since December 2024. The animation continues to be handled by Studio ORANGE.

This marks the thrilling conclusion to Legoshi and Haru’s story—get ready!

Beastars is a Japanese manga created and illustrated by Paru Itagaki. It appeared in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion, a shōnen magazine, from September 2016 until October 2020, gathering its chapters into 22 tankōbon volumes. Viz Media handles the English-language publication in North America. The plot unfolds in a contemporary society of anthropomorphic animals living civilly, marked by tensions between predators and prey, where consuming meat—derived solely from fellow anthropomorphic beings—remains forbidden by law. Beastars shares its universe with Beast Complex, an earlier work by Itagaki that acted as its precursor.

The anime adaptation, brought to life by studio Orange, launched its debut season on Fuji TV’s +Ultra block from October through December 2019. Season two followed from January to March 2021. The third and concluding season’s first portion debuted in December 2024, with the latter half scheduled for March 2026. Netflix holds the streaming rights for the anime worldwide. Beyond Japan, season one rolled out in March 2020, and season two in July 2021.

As of October 2021, the manga boasted more than 7.5 million copies in print. In 2018, Beastars claimed several honors, such as the 11th Manga Taishō—marking Akita Shoten’s inaugural win—the New Creator Prize from the 22nd Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, the shōnen division of the 42nd Kodansha Manga Award, and the New Face Award at the 21st Japan Media Arts Festival.
