On Wednesday, Shufu to Seikatsu Sha revealed that Marukawa’s manga series Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land (Ikyō no Tsumenuri Minarai) will receive an anime adaptation.

The manga is licences by Tokyopop, and the company portrays the series as following:
“A shoujo fantasy that brings readers into the magical world of nail art.
Keiko Sahara, an office worker whose hobby is designing cute gel nails, is sent to a world where people’s magic abilities come from their nail art. After a magic nail artist notices her ability, she becomes his apprentice!”
Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land is a manga series originating from Japan, crafted and drawn by Marukawa. Launched on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha [ja]’s Pash Up! online manga platform in March 2022, the series continues to unfold with installments gathered into five tankōbon editions by January 2025.
