Ace of Diamond Act II anime‘s official website unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming 2nd season that confirms April 2026 release date.
The anime also unveiled a new key visual.

Ace of Diamond is a captivating Japanese manga series centered on baseball, crafted and illustrated by Yuji Terajima. It appeared in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine shōnen publication starting in May 2006 and wrapping up in January 2015, with the installments compiled into 47 tankōbon volumes. The follow-up story, Ace of Diamond Act II, ran from August 2015 until October 2022, compiling its chapters into 34 tankōbon volumes.
The original tale inspired a 126-episode anime TV series produced by Madhouse and Production I.G, which broadcast from October 2013 through March 2016. For the sequel, a 52-episode anime adaptation by Madhouse ran from April 2019 to March 2020.
As of July 2025, the manga boasts more than 45 million copies sold, securing its spot among the top-selling manga franchises. In 2008, it claimed the 53rd Shogakukan Manga Award in the shōnen division, followed by the 34th Kodansha Manga Award for superior shōnen work in 2010.
