At San Diego Comic-Con International on Thursday, Bandai Namco Filmworks revealed an exclusive teaser visual for Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, the second chapter of the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway anime film series, during its dedicated Gundam panel.

Additionally, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced that the film is slated for a theatrical premiere in Japan later this year, with screenings in North America to follow soon after.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, also referred to as Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, is a novel trilogy penned by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of the Gundam franchise. Published by Kadokawa Shoten under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint from February 1, 1989, to April 1, 1990, the series spans three volumes. Set within the Gundam metaseries, it follows Hathaway Noa, who adopts the alias Mafty Navue Erin and leads a terrorist organization to combat the Earth Federation’s oppressive actions. This novel series stands out as the only semi-canonical Gundam work authored by Tomino himself.
As part of Sunrise’s “UC NexT 0100” initiative, a three-part cinematic adaptation was officially revealed. The first film in the trilogy premiered in theaters on June 11, 2021.
