You Can’t Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! (Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai) anime‘s official website unveiled a brand new trailer.

The new trailer also confirms and features ending theme.

Hikari Codama performs the ending theme song “Amanojaku” (Contrarian),

The trailer unveils that Takehiro Urao will voice the protagonist Yonosuke Sakai.

“You Can’t Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! (Japanese: 幼馴染とはラブコメにならない, Hepburn: Osananajimi to wa Rabu Kome ni Naranai; lit. ’It won’t Become a Romcom with Childhood Friends’) is a Japanese manga series authored and illustrated by Shinya Misu. Its serialization kicked off on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022.

Plot of the series is as following:

“Yonosuke Saskai shares a tight bond with his two childhood companions, Shio Minamo and Akari Hiodoshi. With age comes a shift in his perspective toward them, sparking unwanted romantic feelings that clash with his desire to preserve their platonic history. This sparks a tangled love triangle among the trio, leaving Yonosuke grappling with their hidden emotions and the unspoken truths they withhold from one another.”
