The World’s Strongest Rearguard – Labyrinth Country’s Novice Seeker anime‘s official website unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming anime.
The new trailer confirms July 2026 release date.

The light novel is being published by Yen Press, here is the official description:
“Corporate slave Arihito Atobe’s death in a freak bus accident marks the beginning of his new life as a kind of adventurer called a Seeker. The World’s Strongest Rearguard: Labyrinth Country’s Novice Seeker is a Japanese light novel series penned by Toowa, with artwork by Huuka Kazabana. Initially shared as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in April 2017, it was later published as a light novel by Fujimi Shobo under their Kadokawa Books label, starting in November 2017. By November 2021, eight volumes had been released. A manga adaptation, drawn by Rikizo, launched on Kadokawa Corporation’s ComicWalker platform in March 2018, with nine volumes published as of February 2025.
