On Monday, a new website launched to reveal the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Atekichi’s light novel series, The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser, scheduled to debut in April 2026.

A Japanese light novel series known as The Strongest Job Is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser, penned by Atekichi with artwork by Akira Shigaraki, debuted as a web novel on the AlphaPolis platform back in August 2016. It later shifted to light novel releases starting in March 2017, accumulating seven volumes by February 2025. Meanwhile, a manga version, brought to life through illustrations by Atsushi Takeda, launched its serialization on AlphaPolis’s online platform in August 2017, gathering into ten volumes as of March 2025.
