Spy×Family anime‘s official website has just unveiled the teaser trailer for the series’ up and coming 3rd season.
Spy×Family season 3 will premiere on October 2025.
Spy × Family (stylized as SPY×FAMILY and pronounced “spy family”) is a Japanese manga series crafted by writer and artist Tatsuya Endo. The narrative centers on Loid Forger, a mysterious spy tasked with forming a makeshift family to complete a covert operation. Unbeknownst to him, his adopted daughter possesses telepathic abilities, and the woman he enters a marriage of convenience with is a formidable assassin. Since its debut in March 2019, the series has been published biweekly on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ platform, with its chapters compiled into 15 tankōbon volumes by March 2025. Viz Media holds the license for North American distribution.
An anime adaptation, brought to life by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, aired on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in April 2022. Muse Communication secured licensing rights for Asia, while Crunchyroll distributed it globally. The second half of the initial season ran from October to December 2022, followed by a second season airing from October to December 2023. Additionally, an anime film, Spy × Family Code: White, featuring the same voice cast as the TV series, hit Japanese theaters in December 2023 and arrived in the United States and Canada in April 2024.
As of December 2024, Spy × Family has achieved global success with over 38 million copies in circulation, ranking it among the top-selling manga series ever. Critics have lauded the series for its engaging plot, humor, well-developed characters, dynamic action sequences, and striking artwork.
