Sakamoto Days anime’s official website has just unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd part’s upcoming episode 5.

Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Sakamoto heard from his apartment that the death row inmates are the real purpose of ✕ (sluer) to attract ORDERs, and to destroy the killings. The Sakamotos are heading to the slayings immediately, but the shokuren Kanto branch has already started to attack ✕. Raku, a member of the organization, attacks the killers one after another, and the ghost of ORDER, Kagami, appears. In the middle of the attack, Sakamoto, who got on the killing series, is shocked by the identity of the ✕ that he has been following for a long time!”
SAKAMOTO DAYS, a Japanese manga crafted by writer and artist Yuto Suzuki, has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since November 2020. As of June 2025, its chapters have been compiled into 22 tankōbon volumes. The series is also available in English through Viz Media and the Manga Plus platform. By June 2025, the manga had surpassed 12 million copies in circulation.
The narrative centers on Taro Sakamoto, a former elite assassin who has traded his deadly past for a tranquil life as a devoted family man. His quiet existence is upended when old foes and associates from his hitman days track him down, seeking vengeance. To safeguard his loved ones, Sakamoto must rely on his unparalleled fighting prowess to confront a range of dangerous opponents, all while striving to preserve his unassuming, everyday persona.
A television anime adaptation, brought to life by TMS Entertainment, was broadcast from January to March 2025.
