Reincarnated as a Sword, also known as I Became the Sword by Transmigrating, is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo. The story first appeared as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2015. It was later picked up for print publication by Micro Magazine, with the first volume released in July 2016.
The series has been adapted into a manga by Tomowo Maruyama, published by Gentosha, along with a spin-off manga created by Hinako Inoue and published by Micro Magazine. Both the main light novels and manga, as well as the spin-off, have been licensed for North American release by Seven Seas Entertainment.
