Odekake Kozame anime‘s official website recently that the series is officially getting a 2nd season, set to premiere on April 2026.
Staff of the anime includes:
- Chihiro Kumano as Director
- Animation Studio: ENGI
- Hiroaki Nagashima as Script Supervisor
- Ayumi Takeuchi as Character Designer
Odekake Kozame is a manga series originating from Japan, created and drawn by Penguin Box. It debuted as a web comic on Twitter in June 2021, before being adopted for official serialization by Kadokawa Corporation and Enterbrain, with publication kicking off in their Aokishi magazine that October. As of July 2025, the installments have been assembled into seven tankōbon volumes through Chukei Publishing. ENGI handled the original net animation (ONA) adaptation, which dropped on YouTube from August 2023 until May 2024. ENGI also produced the theatrical anime feature Eiga Odekake Kozame Tokai no Otomodachi, which premiered in Japanese cinemas during August 2025.
