My Dress-Up Darling anime‘s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd season’s up and coming 11th episode.
Synopsis for the episode:
“The day before the “Coffin” rehearsal, Niina and Asahi were making props to use in the shoot. As they worked, Asahi talked about what inspired him to start cosplaying. Meanwhile, Sasuka was with Miyako and Suzuka. When asked to cosplay as Black Lobelia, Sasuka refused, stating that she would never cosplay, and Miyako said something to her.”
My Dress-Up Darling season 2 episode 11 will premiere on September 14, 2025.
My Dress-Up Darling is an anime television series adapted from Shinichi Fukuda’s manga of the same name. The anime was first announced in April 2021 through the ninth issue of Young Gangan magazine. Produced by CloverWorks, the series is helmed by director Keisuke Shinohara, with scripts penned by Yoriko Tomita. Character designs and chief animation direction are handled by Kazumasa Ishida, while Takeshi Nakatsuka crafts the series’ musical score. The inaugural season aired from January 9 to March 27, 2022, on Tokyo MX and various other networks. The opening theme, “Sansan Days” (燦々デイズ; lit. ‘Sun-Drenched Days’), is performed by Spira Spica, with the ending theme, “Koi no Yukue” (恋ノ行方; lit. ‘Where Love Is’), sung by Akari Akase.
A follow-up was announced in September 2022, later confirmed as a second season, retaining the core staff and cast. It debuted on July 6, 2025, airing on Tokyo MX and other networks. The second season’s opening theme, “Ao to Kirameki”, is performed by Spira Spica, while the ending theme, “Kawaii Kaiwai”, is sung by PiKi.
