Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly is an original Japanese magical girl anime television series produced by Studio Pierrot. Directed by Shintarō Dōge, who also handles the original character designs, the show features series composition and scripts by Yūko Kakihara, along with animation character designs by Namiko Tori, Hirono Nishiki, and Asami Sodeyama. Marking the sixth entry in the long-running Pierrot Magical Girl Series, it serves as the franchise’s first new installment in over two decades since Fancy Lala, the Magic Stage. The series is set to premiere in April 2026, with the opening theme “Bubee” performed by the K-pop group ILLIT.

The story revolves around sisters Fuu Nonoyama and Rui Nonoyama, who were once close but have grown distant over time. Hailing from a “land of magic,” they unexpectedly receive magical abilities from two cat-like spirits named Uguisu and Azuki. These powers enable them to transform into magical girl idols. However, the gifts come with strict limitations: the magic is only available for one year, and they are forbidden from revealing its existence to anyone. Unbeknownst to each other, both sisters embark on their journeys as idols, leading to exciting adventures, hidden identities, and potential reconciliation as they balance their secret lives.
