I Lost My Adventurer’s License Anime Officially Confirmed

During the GA FES 2026 livestream on Sunday, it was revealed that Manimani Ononata’s light novel series Bōkensha License o Hakudatsusareta Ossan Dakedo I Lost My Adventurer’s License, but It’s Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now will be adapted into a television anime.

The anime unveiled a teaser visual as well.

I Lost My Adventurer’s License, but It’s Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now is a Japanese light novel series authored by Manimani Ononata and illustrated by Fuzichoco. It first appeared as a web novel on the user-generated platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō, and SB Creative later picked it up for print publication under the GA Novel imprint starting in August 2018, with four volumes issued as of October 2022.

A manga adaptation by illustrator Fumi Tadaura launched on Square Enix‘s Manga Up! platform in November 2018, and thirteen tankōbon volumes have been compiled as of June 2025.
