The production staff for the anime adaptation of Yukiya Murasaki’s light novel How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord announced on Monday that the series will receive a 3rd season, titled How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord ULT.
They also unveiled an announcement visual illustrated by the light novels’ original artist, Takahiro Tsurusaki.

The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in July 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide outside of Asia, while Funimation handled streaming in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Funimation also provided an English dub for the show.
The second season, titled How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord Omega, aired in 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles, and Funimation once again offered the English dub.
“How Not to Summon a Demon Lord,” also known as “The King of Darkness Another World Story: Slave Magic,” is a Japanese light novel series written by Yukiya Murasaki and illustrated by Takahiro Tsurusaki. The light novels are published in English by J-Novel Club. A manga adaptation illustrated by Naoto Fukuda has been serialized since 2015 and is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime television series produced by Ajiado aired from July to September 2018, followed by a second season from Tezuka Productions and Okuruto Noboru, which aired from April to June 2021.
