Gachiakuta, the ongoing anime’s official website has just unveiled the preview images and synopsis for the upcoming episode 8.
GACHIAKUTA episode 8 will premiere on August 31, 2025.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“The cleaning crew boss, Kolbus, has returned. Kolbus expresses his gratitude to Ludo, who protected his comrades at the risk of his life, and formally welcomes him into the cleaning crew, then shares information about the heavenly realm. According to Kolbus, there is a “Boundary” between the heavenly realm and the lower world, and it seems that crossing it leads to death. However, there is a woman who knows of a human who crossed the “Boundary” while still alive, located in a certain place…“
Gachiakuta anime premiered on July 6, 2025 on CBC, TBS, and 26 different channels.

Gachiakuta is a Japanese manga series created by Kei Urana. It started serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2022. As of June 2025, the series has been compiled into 15 tankōbon volumes, collecting its serialized chapters.
