Blue Miburo anime‘s official website unveiled a brand new key visual for the 2nd season featuring Serizawa Kamo.
The second season of The Blue Wolves of Mibu premiered in Japan on December 20, 2025, and it adapts the gripping “Serizawa Assassination” story arc.
The Blue Wolves of Mibu is a Japanese manga series crafted by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, who handles both the writing and artwork. Serialization began in Kodansha’s shōnen magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October 2021. The initial arc wrapped up in April 2024, with the follow-up segment—titled the Shinsengumi Arc—launching that same month and continuing onward.
For the anime side, a television adaptation produced by Maho Film (promoted internationally as Blue Miburo) originally broadcast from October 2024 through March 2025. Its second season then launched in December 2025, picking up the story’s momentum.
