Weathering With You

Weathering With You is one of the most foreseen anime films in ongoing memory, going about as the otherworldly successor to the honor winning, basically got motion picture of Your Name. Weathering With You highlighting a pristine story where a couple of star crossed sweethearts meet, one of which happens to have enduring evolving capacities, the groundswell for this anime has been developing.

BFI Southbank in London is posting a subtitled screening of Weathering With You on December 10 (6 p.m.), joined by a Q&A with its executive director Makoto Shinkai. Tickets will go on open deal on November 12 at 11.30 am.

Anime Limited has just declared that it will discharge Weathering With You in films in the UK and Ireland on January 17, 2020. The film will be screened in both Japanese with captions and with an English dub.

GKIDS portrays the film:

“The summer of his high school freshman year, Hodaka runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo, and quickly finds himself pushed to his financial and personal limits. The weather is unusually gloomy and rainy every day, as if to suggest his future. He lives his days in isolation, but finally finds work as a writer for a mysterious occult magazine. Then one day, Hodaka meets Hina on a busy street corner. This bright and strong-­willed girl possesses a strange and wonderful ability: the power to stop the rain and clear the sky…”
