The year 2019 has brought us a lot of new anime series, returned to us a lot of anime series with new seasons and anime films as well. One of the most successful anime film that was a trending topic on social media for a long time is Makoto Shinkai‘s Weathering With You.
The film was released on July 19, 2019, in Japan that managed to get a lot of awards and recently a new one was added as the 34th Japan Gold Disk Award reported its champs in every class on February 26, 2020. The yearly honor was built up by the Recording Industry Association of Japan in 1987 to respect specialists dependent on the genuine deals from CDs and digital downloads.
The champ in the Animation Album of The Year class, which implies the top-selling anime collection of 2019, was the soundtrack collection for Makoto Shinkai‘s anime film Weathering With You, performed by the four-member Japanese musical crew RADWIMPS.

As per Oricon’s yearly business chart, it sold in any event 128,487 CDs and was downloaded 51,265 times in 2019.
The Weathering With You film opened on January 17 in Japan and has become a worldwide success with record-breaking sales of more than $186.8 million (worldwide).
