Year 2019 has brought a lot of new anime series that were great hits on anime universe like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, The Promised Neverland and many more, but besides anime series, one of the prior years biggest was Makoto Shinkai’s successful Weathering With You film.
The film opened on January 17 in Japan and has become a worldwide success with record-breaking sales of more than $176.3 million (worldwide).
GKIDS official Youtube channel recently discharged a subsequent English dubbed clip for Makoto Shinkai‘s Weathering With You anime film.
The English dub cast incorporates:
- Brandon Engman as Hodaka
- Ashley Boettcher as Hina
- Lee Pace as Suga
- Alison Brie as Natsumi
- Emeka Guindo as Nagi
- Riz Ahmed as Takai
- Vinnie Penna as Kimura
- Mike Pollock as Yasui
- Barbara Goodson as Tachibana
Fathom Events will screen the film in theaters in the United States on January 15 and 16. The screenings will be a Special Fan Preview with restrictive reward content before GKIDS opens the film in North America on January 17.
The screenings beginning on January 17 will have both English-subtitled screenings and English-dub screenings.
