Anime Limited has reported that there will be film screenings of a double bill of Makoto Shinkai‘s movies Weathering With You and Your Name on Wednesday, January 15 2020, preceding the film arrival of Weathering With You on the next Friday (January 17).
Tickets for the screenings of Weathering With You, incorporating the double bills with Your Name., will be accessible on the http://weatheringwithyoufilm.co.uk/ site.
All the double bills will have subtitled screenings of the two movies, with a 10-minute interim between the two movies. The screenings of Weathering With You from January 17 will be both dubbed and subtitled.

The Wethering With You film opened in 359 theaters and 448 screens in Japan on July 19. The last Japanese film to acquire more than 10 billion yen was Shinkai’s past film Your Name. three years back.
The film sold 1,159,020 tickets for 1,643,809,400 yen around US$15.22 million in its first three days in quite a while. The film positioned #1 in its opening end of the week.
GKIDS has authorized the film for North America, and will give the film a “grants qualifying” showy run for the current year before a more extensive screening with captions and an English dub starting on January 17.
