Uzumaki is a seinen horror manga arrangement composed and outlined by Junji Ito. Showing up as a sequential in the week by week manga magazine Big Comic Spirits from 1998 to 1999, the parts were assembled into three bound volumes by Shogakukan and distributed from August 1998 to September 1999. In March 2000, Shogakukan discharged an omnibus release, trailed by a second omnibus form in August 2010.

Plot: “Uzumaki pursues a secondary school young person, Kirie Goshima (五島桐絵); her sweetheart, Shuichi Saito (斎藤秀一); and the residents of the little, anecdotal Japanese town of Kurōzu-cho (黒渦町 Black Vortex Town), which is reviled by extraordinary occasions including spirals. As the story advances, Kirie and Shuichi witness his dad, Toshio, who was fixated on winding examples, leaving control and after Shuichi’s dad’s passing made his body curve into a winding, the winding condemnation influenced the individuals around them, making the natives become fixated on or distrustful about spirals – including Shuichi’s mom, Yuki, who experienced neurosis after her better half’s demise and a dread of spirals, endeavored to end it all when she cut her ears with scissors.”

In North America, Viz Media serialized an English-language interpretation of the arrangement in its month to month magazine Pulp from February 2001 to August 2002.
