Shogakukan’s online magazine Yawaraka Spirits distributed the 50th part on April 23 of Yu Hayato’s Yamikin Ushijima-kun Nikumamushi Densetsu (Ushijima the Loan Shark: The Legend of Nikumamushi) spinoff manga and noticed that the manga is taking a break and will return “around” this mid-year.
The manga launched on Yawaraka Spirits in February 2017 and is a spinoff of Shohei Manabe’s Ushijima the Loan Shark manga that focuses on the character Nikumamushi. Shogakukan distributed the manga’s fifth volume on February 28 and will distribute the 6th volume on May 30.
The primary manga won in the General class of the 56th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2011. The arrangement was likewise designated for an Osamu Tezuka Culture Prize in 2008 and 2010, just as for France’s Angoulême Comics Awards in 2008.
