Most Anticipated Anime Of 2023 - 2024

We have just started the new year, and many new anime series premiered as a part of Winter 2023 and some of the series like My Hero Academia season 6, Blue lock and other series returned with new cours (quarters).

So 2023 is ongoing, and many anime series are set to come back and new ones are set to premiere this year or on 2024 as well.

As mangathrill.com we shared a list of some of the most anticipated anime of both 2023 and 2024.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3

Attack on Titan is set to end the anime adaptation soon with its fourth season’s third part, and the story of Eren Yeager and his close companions will say goodbye to the screens. As it is confirmed Attack on Titan season 4’s part 3 is split into 2 cours, and the first cour will premiere on March 4, 2023.

Dr. Stone Season 3

Dr. Stone season 3 or with its official title Dr. Stone: New World is directly set after the series’ 2nd season, and Dr. Stone: Ryusui, which will continue the events of the Source of the Petrification Saga. The series will premiere on April 2023.

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! adapts the official spin-off series that demonstrates more of the magical academy from her home town setting fans were introduced to during the Crimson Legend movie. It is set before the events of the main series and focuses on the explosion magic loving mage before she had joined Kazuma Sato’s party. The series will premiere on April 2023.

Undead Unluck

This story of the Undead Unlock which is based on Yoshifumi Tozuka’s manga, centers on a girl named Fuuko Izumo, whose power is extreme bad luck, which causes death for anybody she comes into contact with. She eventually joins forces with Andy, an undead immortal who seeks to die a beautiful death using her power. The two establish the strangest alliance ever imagined. The series will premiere this year.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime centers on a man who is so exhausted from work that the end of the world turns out to be a blessing, is supported by a strong creative team, including Hiroshi Seko, who wrote the scripts for Attack on Titan, Mob Psycho 100, and other popular shows. We’re looking at one of the biggest hits of the year overall if the anime can match the intensity of the original manga series. The anime will premiere this July.

Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling follows Sung Jinwoo, a hunter who started off weak, ends up barely making it out of a particularly difficult dungeon before being contacted by the System that allows him to level up by defeating monsters.

As a result of his experiences, the hero in this book quickly gains wild and nearly limitless new levels of strength, blasting through everything in his path. The anime will premiere this year.

Demon Slayer Season 3

Demon Slayer anime’s second season managed to surpass itself even more with the Entertainment District Arc after its first season utterly changed the anime landscape and built on that success with its debut feature film. This is only the beginning as Tanjiro Kamado will soon have to contend with demons who are far more potent than before. You still have to combat the other Upper Ranks, even if you thought your encounters with Daki and Gyutaro were fantastic.

Along with the other members of this potent gang, the Swordsmith Village arc also introduces some of the other characters we’ve been hoping to see more of since the first season, such as the Love Hashira, played by Mitsuri Kanroji, and the Mist Hashira, played by Muichiro Tokito. Demon Slayer anime’s 3rd season will premiere on April 2023.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

Jujutsu Kaisen, which managed to conquer the anime universe with its debut season and prequel film, is finally returning this summer with brand-new episodes. The events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 hinted to a deeper look into Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s past, which Season 2 will continue where the first season left off. By the way, it’s only the first significant arc of the upcoming season, the anime has also promised that we will see the eagerly awaited Shibuya Incident arc in action. Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 anime will premiere on July 2023.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2: The Separation

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the year’s biggest hit thanks to animation studio Pierrot’s fascinating effort. The new series miraculously met and even surpassed all of the fans’ hopes for it after they waited more than ten years to see the final arc of Tite Kubo’s original manga series have its official anime adaptation debut. The second batch of episodes of the new series has swiftly become one of the most anticipated releases of this year due to how effectively it set up the next final battles. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 2 will premiere on July 2023.

One-Punch Man Season 3

The story of our favorite hero Saitama continues with the manga, and thanks to One-Punch Man officials we got the confirmation that after 2 great seasons, another one is on the way which is the 3rd one and will finally make the anticipated Saitama vs Garou fight happen. There is no release date which is confirmed yet but it’s expected to premiere this year, or with the worst case scenario the next year.

Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King Film

Yuki Tabata’s refreshing story of Asta and his companions ended its anime run, and finally the series comes back again with a full-feature anime film titled Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King which is set to premiere on March 31, 2023.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3

The fan-favorite isekai anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was missing from the screens for almost 2 years, and finally the franchise confirmed that it’s coming back with its 3rd season this year.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2

Another famous fantasy/harem/isekai anime is without a doubt Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, and this year we will at last get the 2nd season. The story is about a lonely and unemployed guy who dies after leading a depressing and reclusive life, reincarnates in a fantasy world while retaining his memories, and takes the name Rudeus Greyrat with the intention of living his new life to the fullest.

Fire Force Season 3

Shinra Kusakabe, the third generation pyrokinetic youth who gained the nickname “Devil’s Footprints” has been out of the screens for quite a while and David Production surprised the Fire Force fandom with a season 3 confirmation. The anime has no official release date confirmed yet.

Classroom of the Elite Season 3

Classroom of The Elite season 3 anime has been officially confirmed, however there is no release date out yet and fans can’t wait to hear the news regarding when the anime will come back with brand new episodes, as Kiyotaka Ayanokōji is a character with a huge fan-base and he is undoubtedly missed.

Tower of God Season 2

In Tower of God, Twenty-Fifth Bam is the main character. Notably, the Korean word Bam can note either Night or Chestnut. His only companion for the most of his life has been his dear friend Rachel, who has been locked beneath a huge and enigmatic Tower. Bam is horrified when Rachel walks into the Tower. Bam finds a way to unlock the Tower’s entrance. He will now go to whatever lengths, even if it means dying, to see Rachel once again. He encounters allies inside the Tower who will aid him in climbing it. Tower of God season 2 has not confirmed the release date yet.

Haikyu!! FINAL 2 Part Anime Film

Haikyu!!, the anime based on Haruichi Furudate’s famous sports manga has ended its TV run and following the series conclusion a two-part anime film which will serve as the finale of the series was announced officially. Haikyu!! Final anime film has no release date confirmed yet.

Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2

The story of Saga of Tanya the Evil centers on a salaryman who is locked in an eternal cycle of reincarnation after becoming the eponymous character and living in an alternate version of World War I. Tanya must assume a murderous, sadist ego in order to join the Empire’s Mage Corps as part of her plot to become a seemingly unstoppable antagonist. Tanya is willing to avoid being killed while dying of natural causes.

The series 2nd season is confirmed, however there is no release date confirmed yet.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2

The Ancient Magus’ Bride anime is focused on the orphaned high school student Chise Hatori decides to sell herself at an auction in order for someone else to take her in and have a new place to call home after being shunned by both her family and society. She is purchased by Elias Ainsworth, a seven-foot-tall humanoid with an animal skull for a head, for five million pounds at the London auction. In Great Britain, the magus who resembles a demon more than a human either leads her to the light she so desperately craves or engulfs her in darkness that become progressively worse. The show presents a slice-of-life romance in a fantastical and magical way. The anime’s 2nd season will premiere on April 2023.

Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3

Rent-a-Girlfriend, the anime based on Reiji Miyajima’s Harem/Romantic-comedy manga managed to get an astounding amount of attention with both seasons and finally the franchise confirmed that the series is coming back to screens with the 3rd season. The 3rd season has no release date confirmed yet.

Edens Zero Season 2

Hiro Mashima has many fascinating stories, and one of them is Edens Zero which premiered from April to October 2021 and the series following the finally of the first season hyped the anime fandom after confirming that the series will have a 2nd season. Edens Zero season 2 will premiere on April 2023.

New Rurouni Kenshin Anime

On December 19, 2021, at the Jump Festa ’22 event, it was officially confirmed that a new anime adaptation of the Rurouni Kenshin manga would be animated by Liden Films. After the 1996–1998 series, it is the second anime television series adaption. The anime will be directed by Hideyo Yamamoto, and will premiere on 2023.

Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 3

The show centers on Hajime Nagumo, who, along with the rest of his class, is sent to another world to take part in a conflict with the demon species. Hajime embarks on a quest to better himself and find a means to get home after being betrayed and left to die by a classmate. The anime’s release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.

SPY x FAMILY Season 2 Anime & Movie

Spy x Family is one of the most successful anime series that premiered on 2022. The plot centers on a spy who must create a family in order to complete a mission. He is unaware that the lady he agrees to marry is a trained assassin, as is the girl he adopts as his daughter. The anime’s 2nd season, and full-feature film will premiere on 2023.

Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse

The story of the new anime centers on the young child Percival, who learns that he is destined to be a part of a group of four knights who are predicted to destroy the world. It is set years after the disbanding of the Seven Deadly Sins, Britannia’s most notorious Holy Knights. As a result of being sought after by the troops of Camelot, Percival sets out to locate the other three Four Knights together with Lancelot, a Liones knight and member of the Seven Sins known as the Liones. Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will premiere on 2023.
