The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese manga series composed by Nakaba Suzuki. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from October 2012 to March 2020, with the parts gathered into 41 tankōbon volumes. The manga highlights a setting like the European Middle Ages, with its nominal gathering of knights addressing the seven dangerous sins. The manga has been authorized by Kodansha USA for English distribution in North America, while the parts are delivered digitally by Crunchyroll in more than 170 nations as they are distributed in Japan.
The series was adjusted into an anime TV series delivered by A-1 Pictures, which ran for two seasons from October 2014 to June 2018. A third season by Studio Deen ran from October 2019 to March 2020, and a fourth season debuted on January 2021. Netflix obtained the restrictive English streaming privileges for the anime series while Funimation as of now has the home video rights for the anime’s first season. A film named The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky debuted in August 2018. A subsequent film named The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light debuted in July 2021.
