The English Twitter account of The Rising of the Shield Hero anime unveiled the preview pictures for the second season anime’s first episode. Check it out below:
The Rising of the Shield Hero anime’s second season will premiere on April 6.
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 anime is listed with 13 episodes.
MADKID will play out the opening theme song “Bring Back” and Chiai Fujikawa will be playing out the ending theme song of the upcoming series “Yuzurenai.”
The anime’s staff includes:
- Masato Jinbo as the Director
- Animation Studio: Kinema Citrus and DR MOVIE
- Keigo Koyanagi as the Series’ Composer
- Masahiro Suwa as the Character Designer For The Animation
- Seira Minami is credit for Official Character Designs
- Kevin Penkin as the Music Composer
Crunchyroll had reported back in 2019 that the anime would have a second and third season.
The anime’s first season 25-episode adaptation produced by Kinema Citrus aired from January to June 2019.
The Rising of the Shield Hero light novels has been portrayed as following:
“Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days on games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from its prophesied destruction.
