The Rising of the Shield Hero anime is one of the most famous anime arrangements of year 2019, and fans have been expecting news regarding season 2 ever since the first season debuted. The waiting is over after the team of The Rising of the Shield Hero announced on Crunchyroll Expo 2019 that the series will not be only returning with season 2 but also with season 3rd season.
Crunchyroll also posted a little tease about what Naofumi and the others will be up to with the subsequent season:
“As Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo are getting new companions, they’re also encountering a new enemy. Learn more about the huge turtle carrying a town on its back, and how the Shield Hero and his team will be fighting along their journey.”
The subsequent season will get from a truly prominent cliffhanger for the arrangement. Presently that Naofumi is being touted as an appropriate saint, he’s going out into the world so as to guard the different vulnerable locales from the danger of the waves. However, in the wake of discovering that the waves are the weapons of saints from a different universe, things are just going to get a lot harder starting now and into the foreseeable future.

“Naofumi Iwatani, an easygoing Japanese youth, was summoned into a parallel world along with three other people from parallel universes to become the world’s Heroes. Each of the heroes was respectively equipped with their own legendary equipment when summoned. Naofumi happened to receive the Legendary Shield, the sole defensive equipment, while the other heroes received a sword, a spear, and a bow, weapons meant for the attack. Unlike the other heroes who are fully supported by the kingdom and gain several strong allies each, Naofumi’s luck turns to the worse after his single companion, later revealed to be none other than Princess Myne, betrays him, steals all his belongings and leaves him devoid of all assistance and supplies after she falsely accuses him of raping her.
Shunned by everyone from the King to peasants, Naofumi is forced to train as a hero alone while working to make ends meet, until he buys from a slave trader a young tanuki demi-human girl named Raphtalia and an egg that hatches into a bird creature whom he names “Filo”, both quickly growing into adulthood and becoming powerful warriors under his care. As they little by little gain the trust and gratitude of the people with their heroic actions, Naofumi, and his companions work hard to fulfill their mission as saviors of the world while unraveling its deepest secrets.“
