Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on their combined fifth and sixth issue The Promised Neverland manga creator Kaiu Shirai is supervising an original scenario that will show up in The Promised Neverland season 2 anime.

Kiro Akiyama will perform The Promised Neverland Season 2 anime’s opening theme song “Identity.” Myuk will perform the second season’s ending theme song “Mahō” (Magic).

The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from August 2016 to June 2020, with the individual chapters gathered and distributed by Shueisha into twenty tankōbon volumes.
The story follows a gathering of stranded kids in their break plan from a orphanage after they understand a dull mystery.
