The current year’s 24th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that The Promised Neverland manga will take a 1-week break and it will not appear in the magazine’s next issue on May 20 and of course it will return in the 26th issue on May 27.

Reason, why the manga is taking a break is that the creator Shirai can recover from his health issues.

The Promised Neverland is a Japanese manga series written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since August 1, 2016, with the individual chapters collected and published by Shueisha into thirteen tankōbon volumes as of April 2019. Viz Media licensed the manga in North America and serialized The Promised Neverland in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

The Promised Neverland anime debuted in Japan on January 10 and finished in March in Japan. Aniplex of America spilled the anime on CrunchyrollHuluFunimation, and HIDIVE as it publicized in Japan. The anime will have a second season in 2020.
