The Eminence in Shadow anime‘s official website has unveiled a brand new trailer for 2nd season that unveils October 2023 release date.
The Eminence in Shadow season 2 is listed with 12 episodes.

The American manga and novel publisher Yen Press licenses The Eminence in Shadow light novel and manga and it portrays the story:
Shadowbrokers are those who go unnoticed, posing as unremarkable people, when in truth, they control everything from behind the scenes. Sid wants to be someone just like that more than anything, and something as insignificant as boring reality isnโt going to get in his way! He trains in secret every single night, preparing for his eventual rise to powerโonly to denied his destiny by a run-of-the-mill (yet deadly) traffic accident. But when he wakes up in a another world and suddenly finds himself at the head of an actual secret organization doing battle with evil in the shadows, heโll finally get a chance to act out all of his delusional fantasies!
Daisuke Aizawa started serializing the story on the โShลsetsuka ni Narลโ (Letโs Become Novelists) site in May 2018, and Kadokawa started distributing the story in actual volumes with craftsmanship by Tลzai, starting with the principal volume in November 2018. The fifth volume dispatched on Friday. Yen Press distributed the second volume in November 2020.
Anri Sakano dispatched the manga in Kadokawaโs Comp Ace magazine in December 2018. The fifth volume delivered on Friday. Yen Press will distribute the principal volume in July.
