That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime announced on their official website on Thursday that season 2 of the anime has been postponed.

The anime‘s production board clarified that the creation had given sufficient opportunity, yet the highly sensitive situation in Japan because of the continuous CoronaVirus pandemic enormously influenced their creation plans. Japan as of late lifted the highly sensitive situation across the country on Tuesday.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 2 anime‘s first half has been postponed from October 2020 to January 2021, while the second half is postponed from April 2021 to July 2021. Likewise, the side project The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has been postponed from January 2021 to April 2021.

Two of the anime adjustments will air on Tokyo MX, MBS, BS11, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, Tochigi TV, and Gunma TV, making night in a row months that anime from the establishment will air on TV.

Crunchyroll will stream the second season of the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East, and Funimation will stream an English dub.

“Satoru Mikami, an average 37-year-old office worker from Tokyo with no girlfriend, was asked for marriage advice by his colleague Tamura. After meeting him and his partner Miho on the street, he is stabbed to death by a passing robber. After making some requests during his death, he is reincarnated in another world as a slime with the ability known as a predator (which can devour other creatures and obtain their abilities). Upon making friends with the dragon Veldora, the slime, now known as Rimuru Tempest, embarks on a journey to find a way to free Veldora from his seal, encountering many different races along the way (along with embarking on side quests throughout the story).”
