The novels happen in this present reality where the saint and the evil spirit lord are secured a persistent question. Okina Baba initially serialized the novels as a web novel on the client produced content website Shōsetsuka ni Narō beginning on May 27, 2015. Fujimi Shobo obtained the arrangement for print distribution, and distributed the primary light novel, with representations by Tsukasa Kiryu, in December 2015. Yen Press declared during their board at Sakura-Con on April 15, 2017 that they had authorized the arrangement.

Asahiro Kakashi propelled a manga adjustment of the light books in the Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace Up manga site on December 22, 2015.The manga is additionally authorized by Yen Press.
