The June issue of Akita Shoten’s Shōnen Champion magazine uncovered on Thursday that Tohru Fujisawa and Shinsuke Takahashi‘s Shonan Seven manga will finish in 3 chapters, including the section distributed on Thursday. In the event that there are no postponements, the manga will finish in the August issue on July 6.
Yearning to become the strongest in Shonan, hot-blooded delinquent Ikki Kurokami starts his third year at Tsujido High, Alma Mater of the legendary Oni-Baku duo (Eikichi Onizuka & Ryuji Danma of Shonan Junai Gumi and GTO).
Ikki seeks to join the ranks of the Shonan seven, winners of a tournament in which 7 representatives from each high school in Shonan participate to prove who is the strongest school, accompanied by 7 beautiful matching motorcycles. Fujisawa and Takahashi launched Shonan Seven in Shōnen Champion in February 2014. Akita Shoten distributed the manga’s fifteenth ordered book volume on January 8, and the sixteenth volume is slated for May 8.
The manga is the “genuine spin-off” to Fujisawa’s GTO: The Early Years manga, which kept running from 1990 to 1996. The manga got its very own prequel, Bad Company, which launched a cutting edge video in 1998.
Fujisawa as of late declared that he will dispatch his arranged Red Data Planet manga with co-maker Iomaru in Akita Shoten’sBessatsu Shōnen Champion magazinebeginning on July 12. Fujisawa had declared the manga in August 2013, with an arranged dispatch in Kodansha’s Magazine Special in December 2013. In any case, the manga did not dispatch in that magazine as arranged.
