The official site for the all-new Shirobako Movie (Gekijō-boycott Shirobako) venture streamed the teaser trailer for the film Thursday. The slogan in the video understands, “We won’t surrender! Not until we fulfill our promise… “
The film will premiere in Japan in spring in 2020.
The returning staff incorporates executive Tsutomu Mizushima, P.A. Works animation studio, arrangement content administrator Michiko Yokote, character planner Ponkan8, activity character creator and boss animation chief Kanami Sekiguchi, and generation organization Infinite.
The staff had said that the “story will proceed” in the film from the previous TV anime. Maker Takayuki Nagatani expressed at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival in March 2016, “in the event that we could settle on a theme, there may be an opportunity [for a sequel]” to Shirobako.

Shirobako is an anime TV arrangement created by Warner Entertainment Japan and studio P.A.Works, which took care of the animation. The arrangement was coordinated by Tsutomu Mizushima and disclosed in Japan between October 9, 2014 and March 26, 2015. A manga adjustment started serialization in ASCII Media Works‘ Dengeki Daioh magazine in September 2014, and a novel was distributed by Shueisha in January 2015. An anime film is at present underway and will debut in Q2 2020.
The title Shirobako alludes to videos that are circulated to the generation staff individuals to their previous discharge. ”Aoi Miyamori and her four best friends, Ema Yasuhara, Shizuka Sakaki, Misa Tōdō, and Midori Imai, were all part of their school’s animation club, promising to make an anime together. Years later, Aoi is now working as a production assistant for the animation production company, Musashino Animation, where Ema also works as an animator, while Shizuka, Misa, and Midori are working as a voice actress, 3D graphics artist, and an aspiring writer respectively. The story mainly focuses on Aoi and her team at Musashino Animation as they work on two different anime projects; an original anime series and a manga adaptation, facing the various obstacles that each project brings with them. ”
