The site for Kadokawa‘s Monthly Comic Gene magazine started posting on Friday that Sasaki Aoko‘s Seven Days War manga will finish in the magazine’s August issue on July 13.

Sasaki Aoko propelled the Seven Days War manga based on Osamu Sōda’s Bokura no Nanokakan Sensō (Our Seven-Day War) novel in Monthly Comic Gene in April. Shin Hashimoto is credited with the first character plans.

The mistery story and social parody starts on the day preceding summer get-away, when each kid in a first-year class of a downtown Tokyo center school vanishes. Is it safe to say that it was some mishap? A mass capturing? As a matter of fact, the young men holed themselves up in a deserted production line on the riverbed. With help from the students, the young men begin an upset against the grown-ups from this “freedom zone.”

The novel is motivating an anime film venture that will open in December. The new anime film moves the settings to the year 2020.
