The official site for the anime film of writer Osamu Sōda’s Bokura no Nanokakan Sensō (Seven Days War or Our Seven-Day War) novel revealed a mystery trailer and visual for the Seven Days War anime film on Tuesday.

The teaser trailer uncovers the film‘s December opening date, and that the studio Ajia-do is taking a shot at the film.

The riddle story and social parody starts on the day preceding summer excursion, when each kid in a first-year class of a downtown Tokyo center school vanishes. Is it safe to say that it was some mishap? A mass grabbing? As a matter of fact, the young men holed themselves up in a deserted production line on the riverbed. With help from the students, the young men begin a revolution against the grown-ups from this “liberation zone” The new anime film moves the settings to the year 2020.

Kadokawa Shoten distributed the novel in April 1985, and the novel enlivened a live-action film featuring Rie Miyazawa in 1988.
