Fathom Events is posting a screening for the Saga of Tanya the Evil (Yōjo Senki) anime film in the United States on May 16. The posting states that the English-subtitled screening, some portion of’s Crunchyroll Movie Night arrangement, will incorporate film of a meeting with the anime’s executive Yutaka Uemura.
Saga of Tanya the Evil film opened in Japan on February 8, and it earned 100 million yen (about US$906,285) in its initial five days. The film has earned 200 million yen (about US$1.8 million) as of February 23. The anime’s 4DX screenings appeared in Japan on April 5.
The TV anime adjustment of Carlo Zen and Shinobu Shinotsuki’s tale arrangement debuted in January 2017. Crunchyroll spilled the arrangement as it disclosed, and Funimation gushed an English dub.
