Warner Bros. UK started gushing four commercials for the Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros.’ live-action Pokémon: Detective Pikachu film on April 1st.

The Pokémon: Detective Pikachu film began its production in London in mid-January 2018. Warner Bros. will circulate the film in North America and TOHO will disseminate the film in Japan. A continuation has purportedly as of now been greenlit.

The film will open in Japan on May 3 and after that debut in the United States on May 10.

The film is based on the Detective Pikachu Nintendo 3DS game, which appeared in Japan in 2016. An all-encompassing variant dispatched in the West last March.

Ryan Reynolds will play Detective Pikachu. Equity Smith will star as another primary character Tim Goodman, a teenager who groups with Pikachu so as to locate his missing dad, and Kathryn Newton will play the “cheeky writer” Lucy. Ken Watanabe will play the unique character Detective Yoshida.

Bill Nighy, Chris Geere, Suki Waterhouse, Rita Ora, and Omar Chaparro are additionally part of the cast.
