With a first episode that is 90 minutes long, Oshi no Ko has made its anime adaptation debut not long ago, and the post-credits scene from this cinematic-style first episode is tearing hearts all over again and adding salt to the wounds.

Fans wanted to see the major cult hit Oshi no Ko manga, which was created by Scum’s Wish creator Mengo Yokoyari and illustrated by Aka Akasaka, turned into an anime, and the first episode helps demonstrate why as it transitions from being vibrant and colorful to utterly heartbreaking by the end.

We got the chance to meet Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko Episode 1, an idol who must conceal her pregnancy or risk losing everything she has achieved for.

Fans follow Ai through the first episode as she succeeds in the entertainment world and manages to keep her secret, but it all ends pretty bloodily, setting off the real plot for Ai’s twin offspring, who are actually the reincarnations of two of her biggest fans. Oshi no Ko anime’s 1st episode with the post-credits scene only makes everything more difficult to handle.
